Board Minutes for February 2nd, 2007
The meeting was held at the home of Ruth and Chuck Otto.
The meeting was called to order by Dean Otto. All were present except Stan Edwards, John Croswell and Lyle Seppman.
The Minutes were read by Sally Peterson and approved as read. Dean Otto gave and explained the treasurer’s report and it was approved as read.
OLD BUSINESS
We discussed that the roads now have letters marking them, and these should be put on the plat map. We have an address for the cemetery it is 21075 547th Avenue, Mankato, MN. 56001.
We discussed the dead tree on the west side. Gordy Herbst will check into having Benco Electric or the State Park cut it down and remove all the brush.
We talked about the east side road problem and a motion was made, 2nd and carried to give John Peterson the authority to get rock as needed in order to build up the road.
NEW BUSINESS
Jerry Neilsen gave a report on maintaining the weeds on all roads and on the west side grass. Green Care will again spray for us. We should be getting a new contract form Dale Vanthuyne for mowing. Jerry will send it on to Dean
Dean Otto brought us up to speed on the new web site (www.minneopacemetery.org). A motion was made, 2nd and carried to allot $500.00 for further costs.
