This will show up in the financials as a reduction in burial income and a reduction in burial expenses.

An update of cemetery grounds update was given by Dean Otto.

  • Randy Isenberg is currently doing cemetery mowing and maintenance.
  • The grounds had been mowed twice in May and various spring clean up of was done.
  • Since last summer the flag pole has been painted, the brick building re-shingled and white building painted.
  • The roads were graded this spring.
  • Weed control was applied

Discussion followed regarding the on-going maintenance of the roads, the oak trees being affected by oak wilt and the unsightly flower posts. It was noted that Glenwood cemetery sent a letter out stating that empty pots would be removed and placed in a shed. Also discussed was the need to trim the arborvitaes on the north side of the west section of the cemetery and to clean up along the fence on the north edge of the east section of the cemetery. These items will be discussed with Randy Isenberg by Dean Otto.
